Israel’s coronavirus fatalities rise to 141
The Ministry of Heath reported 141 coronavirus deaths by Thursday midday and an additional 90 confirmed cases raising the figure to 12,591, of whom 174 are in serious condition. More than 2,900 people have recovered. The ministerial task force has decided to ease the lockdown on the town of Bnei Brak where the outbreak is under control, but not Jerusalem where several neighborhoods are still under closure. Thursday afternoon, decisions will be taken at a meeting of PM Binyamin Netanyahu and the relevant ministers on the various plans for restarting the economy in cautious stages.
