Israel’s coronavirus infection level stays high

Another 1,943 new cases of covid-19 infection from Tuesday raised the total number to 107,341, of whom 20,581 were active, 430 in serious condition and 118 on ventilators. The number of dead rose to 867. The reopening of the school year next Tuesday is being anxiously watched for a new spike in contagion. The latest researches indicate that small children are more likely to be infected at home rather than at school.
