Israel’s Labor party holds primary

Israel’s opposition Labor party is holding its primary vote Thursday for its slate in the January 22 general election. Sixty-three thousand card-carrying voters may choose 20 candidates from among 83 contenders at 450 polling stations in 70 locations up until 10 p.m.
