Israel’s prison service to have insider chief

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan has nominated a female officer as the Chief Commissioner of the Israel Prison Service. Ofra Klinger, aged 53, has law and political science degrees, is a married mother of three from Yehud. She has held several command positions in her 26 years in the organization.
