Israel’s security cabinet meets on Gaza bomb-balloon crisis

Members of the ministerial security cabinet are to convene Sunday at 1300 hours to discuss Israel’s response to the Palestinian incendiary balloon offensive. Israel is reported to have made more concessions for the umpteenth truce deal brokered by the UN and Egypt.

      That’s not the “politically correct” thing to do. After all, what would the left-wing media (which has not been covering the arson balloons being launched into Israel) have to say once Israel finally starts taking proactive measures to defend themselves ( “you can’t do that: it’s disproportionate”).

    I do not understand how this balloon attack is still problem.A drone with trailing razor wire.Or a drone with a spiked ball suspended on a wire below the drone.What about a short barrel shotgun auto reload.This has been going on far too long.

    Use small toy helicopter drones to destroy the balloons. Glue tiny pieces of razor blades to the tips of the propellers and fly them into the balloons or kites. those kites/balloons do not stand a chance. Those toys are much cheaper than the cost of the fires.
    If the balloons are being sent out at night have guards with bright lights pointing upwards towards Gaza. these problems are not insurmountable.
    where is the imagination among the IDF?
    If someone in Israel can contact me or spread this idea to the Southern cities, the solution is so easy. watch YouTube videos for how those small helicopters are being used.
