Israel’s top soldier: Our main task now is to capture the terrorists

The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkott Wednesday morning visited the scene of the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevah in a Palestinian drive-by shooting attack the night before. He said: “Our main task now is to capture the cell, place it in custody and prevent more such incidents.” He received briefings from OC Central Command Maj. Gen. Ronnie Numa, Head of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brig. Gen. Eran Niv and Shin Bet officers. During the day, the IDF kept roadblocks up around the Palestinian town Nablus and outlying villages while scouring the area for the perpetrators of the attack. At the same time, there was no attempt to disturb normal life in the town.
