Jeh Johnson named to Homeland Security Dept

President Obama has named former Pentagon attorney Jeh Johnson as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security to fill the space left when Janet Napolitano quit earlier this year. While at the Pentagon, during Obama’s first term, Johnson worked on counterterrorism, cyber security and disaster response. His appointment comes at at a time that Obama plans reforms on immigration. It is subject to Senate confirmation.
