Jerusalem family of truck terrorist may lose residency rights
Interior Minister Aryeh Der’i Tuesday recalled for reassessment the blue permanent residency ID cards held by the close family of Fadi Qunbar, who Sunday murdered four Israeli soldiers and injured 13 with a heavy truck. His mother, two brothers and a sister are in custody on suspicion of guilty knowledge of Qadi’s intent. They may be charged with conspiracy to commit a crime. Loss of residency rights has often proved an effective deterrent for Palestinian terrorism, since it leaves them without National Insurance allowances, the license to move freeely around Israel, driving licenses and medical services.
