Jewish organizations slam UNESCO’s Hebron decision

US Jewish organizations continued to react with harsh criticism for UNESCO decision to classify the Cave of the Patriarchs an “endangered Palestinian heritage site.”  Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), regretted that the UNESCO decision “not only undermines efforts to build Israeli-Palestinian trust,” but also “reinforces the perception among Israelis and Jews around the world that the Palestinians do not recognize the Jewish connection to Israel and cannot be serious partners to peace.”
