Jihad’s rocket chief taken out on Day 3 of Operation Shield and Arrow
Ali Ali (Abu Muhammed), commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket section, was killed early Thursday in an IDF-Shin Bet strike on his home in Khan Younes, southern Gaza. He set up and directed the latest Palestinian rocket blitz against Israel. Ali was taken out, along with two of his lieutenants, on Day 3 of Operation Shield and Arrow that Israel launched by killing three top Jihad leaders. The operation continues into Thursday as prospects of a negotiated ceasefire fade.
