Jordan blocks Iraqi Shiite broadcasts over spreading demos

Jordan has begun blocking the broadcasts of Iraqi Shiite TV stations lest the wave of Iraqi protests spill over into the kingdom. Amman has also stopped the broadcasts of the Jordan-based TV Dijla to Iraqi audiences. The station is run by Iraqi journalists.

    Obviously Jordan has the same problems and is fearful of similar response from the population. Welcome to another Arab winter. Better to try to calm the populous than go after corrupt politicians.
