Jordan, Mauritania take steps against Qatar; Moroccan airline halts flights
As the diplomatic crisis over Qatar continued to escalate, Morocco's flag carrier Royal Air Maroc said Tuesday that it was halting service from Qatar's capital to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and the UAE, which have all broken off ties with the Gulf state. Meanwhile, Mauritania became the latest Arab country to sever relations with Qatar, while Jordan announced that it was downgrading ties and also shutting down the local office of the Doha-based Al Jazeera network.
