Jordan puts 5 alleged terrorists on trial for West Bank suicide plot
Five Jordanian citizens are on trial before a state security court in the kingdom on charges of plotting suicide attacks on the West Bank against Israeli buses and other targets. The cell leader is said to have traveled to Gaza in 2007 for training in making bombs and explosive vests, returning to Jordan three years later. More recently he recruited four other suspects with whom he planned to infiltrate the West Bank for attacks.
