Jordanian King Abdullah meets Putin in Moscow
Jordan's King Abdullah met Wednesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow for several hours. During a press conference at the Kremlin following the talks, Abdullah said that he hopes to continue diplomatic and military cooperation with Moscow and that he fully supports the efforts to reach a cease-fire and peace agreement for Syria, which started at this week's conference in the Kazakh capital Astana and will continue at a UN-sponsored conference in Geneva in the beginning of February. Putin thanked Abdullah for his support of the Astana negotiations.
