Judiciary committee unanimously OKs nomination of Wray as FBI director
The nomination of Christopher Wray to be the next director of the FBI was approved by all 20 members of the US Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. The full Senate will now hold a vote to determine whether the former Justice Department official will be confirmed. President Donald Trump tapped Wray for the post in early June after firing the previous director, James Comey, about a month earlier.
