Kadima leader loses bid to expel four would-be renegades lawmakers
The Knesset House Committee rejected Shaul Mofaz’s demand to force the expulsion of the four would-be party defectors who tried and failed to join the Netanyahu government. Panel members slammed Mofaz for a poorly-presented application which caused them to reshuffle their agenda without attending the hearing himself. Monday, the Kadima head, now again leader of the opposition, vowed to defeat “adventurous operations that could place our sons and daughters in harms way” – a hint at a possible military strike against Iran.
