Kerry allows more time for final Israel-Palestinian deal

US Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday that he was prepared to continue the talks between Israel and the Palestinians “for whatever period of time might be appropriate” to reach a final peace – admitting that a final agreement is not possible by the April 29 deadline.
