Kerry says his meeting with Abbas was “constructive”

 

US Secretary of State John Kerry headed straight to the West Bank town of Ramallah for 90 minutes of talks with Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas after touching down in Israel Sunday. Monday, he attended a Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony in Jerusalem and is still to meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the capacity of President Barack Obama’s pointman for bringing Israel and the Palestinians back to the negotiating table.
