Khamenei slams US for attacking Iran-allied Iraqi militia
“The Iranian nation and I strongly condemn the attacks,” said Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday. He was referring to the US air strikes conducted on Sunday against the Iran-linked Kata’ib Hezballah which had on Friday killed a US civilian contractor in a rocket attack on an American base. Iranian state TV quoted Khamenei is blaming the United States for the violence in Iraq.
