Kim Jong-un pays a surprise visit to Beijing

The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un was greeted by Chinese President Xi Jinping when he arrived in Beijing Monday. His visit sparked a buzz of speculation. According to one suggestion, Kim came to sound out the Chinese president for guidance on what to expect from President Donald Trump when they meet in May. Xi has met Trump on more than one occasion.  Kim, 39, traveled on a heavily guarded North Korean train for his first visit outside his country since becoming its leader in 2011.
