Knife-wielding Islamist terrorist shot dead at Spanish police station

The attacker, aged 29 of Algerian origin, buzzed the intercom at a police station south of Barcelona on Monday. When the woman officer opened the door, he lunged at her with a knife shouting Allahu Akbar. The officer opened fire and fatally wounded the attacker. Spain’s north-east Catalan region has been marking the anniversary of the 2017 jihadist attack on Barcelona.
