Labor and Gesher join forces for September election

Labor leader Amir Peretz and Orli Levi-Avaksis, leader Gesher (Bridge), announced Thursday they had agreed to join forces and run on an amalgamated ticket in the September election. Labor under its former leader slumped to 6 Knesset seats (out of 120) in the April election, while Gesher failed to make it past the 3.7pc threshold. Earlier, the Labor leader declined to join up either with the far-left Meretz or the new party set up by former PM Ehud Barak.

It is very telling of the morality in Israel when it’s would be leaders refuse to work with Netanyahu because he does not have a secular ideology. Hmmm, wasn’t it their disobedience to God that brought them so much pain and suffering? It was. Of course, the left is anti-God so this news article is not surprising. Peace.
