Large-scale Israeli home defense drill starts Monday

The two-day “Turning Point 7” exercise simulatess war scenarios in Israeli towns, including a surface missile attack on Natzrat Ilit, a terrorist raid on the Yavne district, and unconventional arms attacks, such as chemical weapon assaults on Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Safed. Upon hearing sirens Monday at 12:00 noon and 19:05, people are asked to go for the nearest shelter. Taking part in the drill are the Homeland Command, Magen David First Aid teams, the police and the fire brigade.
