Lavrov: Russia has handed over S-300 missile systems to Syria

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed Friday that Russia had already handed over to Syria S-300 air defense systems. “The S-300 had begun to be delivered to Syria,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, adding that delivery began immediately after the disaster of the Russian IL-20 plane in Syria last week.
