At least one Palestinian killed in shootout with IDF pursuing Rabbi Shevach’s killers in Jenin

A large IDF special operations force raided the Palestinian town of Jenin in armored vehicles Wednesday night in pursuit of the terrorists who murdered Rabbi Raziel Shevach in a drive-by shooting on Jan. 9 near Havat Gilead.  They made for a gas station in the town, apparently on a tip-off that the killers were hiding out in nearby buildings. Local Palestinians opened fire on the force from all directions. In the ensuing shootout, at least one Palestinian was killed and one or more wounded. Two were taken into custody. The battle continued into the night as the soldiers surrounded a house and called on its inmates to come out.  Two soldiers were lightly wounded.

Another indication how not normal liberal conditions prevail in Israel. Would any country tolerate an open armed resistance ( Local Palestinians opened fire on the force from all directions. and The battle continued into the night ) from any ethnic group living in their borders? Only in Israel. Extreme tolerance to enemy’s and harsh punishment’s for it’s own.

Agreed Mike: That’s what any other country would do with terrorists.
