Lebanese Olympic delegation leader reprimanded by IOC

The heads of the International Olympic Committee summoned Lebanese delegation leader Salim al-Haj Nakoula at the Olympic Games in Rio to a hearing Sunday and reprimanded him for the incident caused by the Lebanese delegation’s refusal to share a bus for the opening ceremony Friday with the Israeli sportsmen and blocked their access to the bus door. The IOC informed Nakoula that this type of incident will not be tolerated if repeated. In his defense, the head of the Lebanese delegation tried to claim that the incident was a misunderstanding.
