Lebanon and its terrorists are source of next war – Israel’s chief of staff

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.Gen. Gady Eisenkott said Sunday: “Hizballah is gearing up with advanced weaponry and deploying for aggressive action from the towns and villages south of the Litani – all in defiance of UN Resolution 1701 [which mandated the end of the 2006 war].” From the declarations heard from across the border,” the general said, “we see a clear address for the next war: Lebanon and the terrorist organizations which are given free rein and full permission to operate from that country.” 
Gen. Eisenkott was addressing the changeover of OCs Northern Command.  The new commander is Maj. Gen. Yoel Strick who takes over from Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, who is promoted to Dep. Chief of Staff.
