Lebanon vows to obstruct Israeli border fence

The High Security Council of Lebanon Wednesday approved action at all levels to “preserve its rights” and prevent Israel from building a border fence. Defense Minister Lieberman last week said that Israel had withdrawn to the international border with Lebanon and that it was building the wall in its own territory. The wall project, underway for three years, is designed to prevent hostile Hizballah incursions. However, Beirut insisted on Wednesday: “We entrust our army to strike against Israeli aggression on the border – by land and by sea. The Israeli fence infringes Lebanese sovereignty and is a violation of UN Security Council 1701 [which ended the 2006 war and obliged Hizballah to withdraw from South Lebanon]. We shall continue to act in all spheres, regional and international, to resist and prevent Israel building its separation fence,” the statement ended. President Michel Aoun sits at the head of the high security council.

Sounds like Lebanon needs to be taught some neighborly manners.

True, but you better watch that pride.
    A) Being a seed of Abraham or even Isaac does not de facto make you a child of God. God showed you that through Ishmael and Esau. You must a spiritual seed of Abraham in order to be a child of God. The scriptual references in the Tanakh to that effect are numerous.
    B) God has always used Israel’s neighbours, however half-witted they may be, to whip his own disobedient kids…so back to square one: careful with that pride.

Essentially, what you were trying to say by using so many words-“The Jew without Tora is a Goy”.

Without the new birth. The law cannot give the new birth. Recall that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were counted for the seed of God before Moses ever came with the Torah. The new birth is only granted via a new covenant according to the prophets Ezekiel (see chapter 36) and Jeremiah (see chapter 31). But I like the way you put that, thank you.

Islamists ruined Lebanon. If the Christians there had political control, things would be better.

Lebanon seems to be begging for carpet bombing.
It is whise not to build a fence and to send the IDF to free some 10km of land to the north,
and then there will be a fence.

So let me get this straight, a third world empty suite has decided, on their own, that Israel cannot build a fence on their side of the border because it prevents the Iranian lap dogs from attacking Israel? Well let’s see them try and find out what Israel does in response.

The question is, which part (geographic location) of the fence is so problematic? If it’s about Ghajar, then we have a “kashmir” situation…

So the Lebanese High Council wants UN Security Council Resolution 1701 upheld in order to try and block a perfectly legal defensive wall on Israeli territory, but the part about Hezbollah being banned from South Lebanon is of no importance?

    Got it.

    Bwahahahaha.
