Lieberman denies falling-out with Russia over Iran’s Golan deployment

Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman denied a report in the London-based Saudi Sharq al-Wasat that Israel and Russia had fallen out over the positioning of Iranian forces on the Golan. According to the report, Israel demanded that Iranian forces come no nearer to the Israeli border than 40km, while the Russians insisted that 10-15km was enough. Lieberman reiterated that Israel would do everything possible to prevent Iranian forces from getting established anywhere near its borders.
