London City airport evacuated over a”chemical incident”
Twenty-six people were feeling unwell and two were taken to hospital by ambulance with breathing difficulties, after a chemical incident at London City Airport Friday. Police are investigating the cause of a chemical leak. The airport has been closed and some 500 passengers and staff evacuated. Reports of a chemical incident sent three fire engines and "a range of specialist appliances" to the scene, the London Fire Brigade said in a statement. Emergency services are on hand.
