Lt.-Col M, who was killed in Gaza mission, is given a hero’s sendoff

Thousands attended the funeral of Lt.-Col M., who died in anti-terror action in the Gaza Strip Sunday night, aged 41. His wife and two children led the mourners and President Reuven Rivlin led the eulogies. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who cut short his stay in Paris, to deal with the Gaza crisis, said: “My head is bowed over the death of Lt. Col. M. One day, the story of his heroic deeds will be told.”
