Macron invites Hariri for visit to Paris – not exile

French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Saad Hariri, who on Nov. 4 resigned as Lebanese Prime Minister, and his family to visit Paris for a few days, not political exile. He said he had spoken both to Hariri and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman about the invitation. The Saudis deny holding the former prime minister against his will.
