Man arrested in northern France over Paris attack
French police have shot and arrested a 37-year old man in northern France whom they suspect drove the BMW which early Wednesday crashed into and injured six soldiers, three seriously, in a Paris suburb. The man, whom the police believe is the perpetrator, was caught after a chase on a motorway north of Paris. The Paris prosecutor's office said it was "pursuing perpetrators on charges of the attempted murder of security forces in connection with a terrorist enterprise". It means authorities are convinced the attack was intentional and planned with a terror-related motive.
