Massive bomb blast kills 31 Syrian troops near Damascus

Among the 31 Syrian troops killed in a massive bomb blast Sunday night were three generals and a brigadier general, said a monitoring group. The explosion leveled an administrative building in the army transport base of Harasta in a suburb northeast of Damascus. A major regime offensive is taking place on rebel positions all around Damascus.
