Mayor of South Korean capital Seoul is missing
Police said Thursday they are looking for Park Won-soon in the Sungbuk neighborhood of Seoul where his mobile phone signal was last detected. It is currently switched off. The mayor, 64, who was elected to his third and last term in June last year, was first reported missing by his daughter on Wednesday. She said he left a message before leaving the house which alarmed her. He cancelled his work appointments for Thursday. Park was said to be under consideration as a potential presidential candidate in the 2022 election.
