Medina mosque suicide bomber identified as Pakistani citizen
The Saudi Arabian security forces on Tuesday said a Pakistani citizen who lived for 12 years in the city of Jiddah carried out the car bombing at the entrance to the mosque in Medina where, according to Muslim tradition, the prophet Mohammad is said to be buried. Four Saudi security officers were killed and five others were wounded in the bombing that was also near the headquarters of the security forces. Riyadh imposed a media blackout regarding the circumstances and the results of the latest attack in the wave of terrorist attacks to hit the kingdom.
