Mexico’s leader calls off meeting with Trump due to border wall issue
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said Thursday that he has cancelled his planned visit to Washington, including a meeting with US President Donald Trump, in light of Trump's signing of an executive order to build a wall on the US-Mexico border. The move also followed Trump's statements that Mexico will ultimately pay for the construction, and Trump's comments during the presidential election campaign describing Mexican illegal immigrants as criminals. Meanwhile, Mark Morgan, head of the US Border Patrol, announced his resignation.
