Michael Bloomberg buys an El Al ticket in solidarity with Israel

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg flew to Israel by El Al Tuesday night and urged the Federation Aviation Administration to reverse course on its directive to US airlines to suspend service to Israel. “Those restrictions are a mistake and hand Hamas an undeserved victory,” he said.
El Al and Arkia have boosted their service to make up for US and European airlines’ cancellation of 85 flights to Israel, following the landing of a Hamas rocket near the Ben Gurion airport’s runways.
