Mid-East Peace and Security conference opens in Warsaw

Co-hosted by the US and Poland, an international conference on Middle East Peace and Security opens in Warsaw on Wednesday. More than 60 nations are represented including the Gulf states, excepting Qatar and Iran, as well as other Arab governments. US Vice President Mike Pence is chairing the meeting with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo leading a strong US delegation. With them are President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” team, Special Advisers Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt. The main subject on the conference agenda is the threat Iran poses to regional stability. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is among the speakers. He will use the opportunity for quiet meetings with Arab leaders.
