Mitt Romney accepts nomination, accuses Obama of throwing Israel under the bus

In accepting the unanimous Republican convention’s nomination of himself as presidential candidate and Paul Ryan as running mate, Mitt Romney devoted a part of his speech to attacking President Obama’s foreign policy, especially on diplomatic engagement with Iran: “We’re still talking and Iran’s centrifuges are still spinning,” he said. “Every American is less secure today because he has failed to slow Iran’s nuclear threat,” said Romney. He accused Obama of having “thrown allies like Israel under the bus.” His main message was a call "to restore America" and heal the divisions of the past four years.
