Moderna to supply Israel an additional 4 million covid vaccine doses

The contract signed on Friday adds 4 million doses of covid-19 vaccine to the two million Moderna agreed to sell in June. Financial terms and timelines were not revealed but health officials expect the first batch to be available next month for medical staff and high-risk cases.  Israel has also reached an understanding with AstraZeneca Plc to receive about 10 million doses of its experimental COVID-19 vaccine.
