Moon Jae-In projected winner of South Korea’s presidential vote

A former special forces soldier, pro-democracy activist and human rights lawyer, Moon Jae-In of the Democratic party is set to win a 41.4 victory in South Korea’s presidential election Tuesday, 18 points ahead of his rival. The election came after millions of South Koreans took to the streets to demand the removal of Park Geun-Hye, who was sacked by the country's top court in March over a corruption scandal and is now in custody awaiting trial.
