More balloons Wednesday morning after Israel fighter jets strike Hamas elite units
Israeli communities adjoining the Gaza Strip woke up Wednesday to more arson balloon fires, after IDF jets hammered Hamas special forces in the Gaza Strip overnight – in response to a rocket attack. The rocket landed on upon ground, but two young girls were injured among the thousands of citizens running for bomb shelters after sirens were triggered in Ashkelon and Kibbutz Zikkim. The rocket attack was the second in a week. In the past 10 days, hundreds of balloons caused daily fires, raising tensions around the Gaza Strip. PM Binyamin Netanyahu told community leaders within range of Palestinian terrorist action to prepare for forthcoming “round or rounds” (of warfare).
