More than 2,244,300 coronavirus cases worldwide

According to global figures, at least 154,200 people have died of coronavirus and more than 2,244,300 have tested positive. High numbers of confirmed cases are reported in the United States (702,164), Spain (190,839), Italy (172,434), France (149,130), and Germany (141,397). WHO reports that China, accused of concealing real figures, has revised its Covid-19 infection tally by adding 325 confirmed cases and 1,290 deaths to the count in Wuhan. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Friday night that his state is still struggling to contain the coronavirus outbreak citing nearly 2,000 hospitalizations daily.
