More UK lawmakers expected to join 7 Labor rebels

Labor party Jeremy Corbyn was warned on Tuesday by his deputy Tom Watson that more resignations would follow the first seven, if he doesn’t bring change to the party. The seven members who quit – in Labor’s first split since 1981 – remain in parliament as the “Independent Group” and call on all parties to “leave old tribal politics behind.” They hope to also attract members of the ruling Conservative party which is in semi-rebellion over PM Theresa May’s Brexit policy. The seven Laborites quit in “shame over the institutionally anti-Semitic Labor Party” and Corbyn’s stand on Brexit. The British press headlines the event as Corbyn’s “splitting headache,” a “wake-up call for Labor on anti-Semitism” and “a red alert for more resignations.”

    From the headline:

“The British press headlines the event as Corbyn’s “splitting headache,” a “wake-up call for Labor on anti-Semitism” and “a red alert for more resignations.”

Great…………………….but Mr. Corbyn has been the recipient of these wake up calls and red alerts for quite awhile now and his response and lack of action have been all too evident. Maybe he can enlist Mr. Roger Waters to replace one of the MP’s who resigned from his party as he would fit right in.
