Moscow alleges US air strikes killed dozens of Iraqi civilians
The Russian Ministry of Defense said Sunday that the US-led coalition is responsible for striking mourners in the Iraqi city of Daquq, 30 km south of Kirkuk on Friday, killing dozens of civilians, including women and children.
The coalition jets apparently mistakenly identified the mourning procession as Islamic State terrorists, said Gen. Igor Konashenkov, spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry.
