Moscow invites Trump administration to join Syrian peace talks

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday invited the incoming US administration to join the Syrian peace talks along with Russia and Turkey as soon as President-elect Donald Trump takes office on January 20. Trump has described President Barack Obama's Syria policy as a failure and promised to halt US military aid to the rebels.
