Moscow open to talks with Ukraine officials in Belarus. Fighting in Kiev

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday afternoon, Day 2 of the Russian invasion, that President Vladimir Putin is open to talks in Belarus, but on his conditions.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has offered to negotiate on one of Putin’s key demands: that Ukraine declare itself neutral and abandon its ambition of joining NATO, according to AP. The Kremlin responded that Russia was ready to send a delegation to Belarus to discuss the matter. Russian forces were meanwhile intensifying their attacks on Kiev, against resistance from Ukrainian troops.
