Moscow receives Syrian assurances

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said Wednesday that assurances had been received from the Assad regime that Syrian chemical weapons is "fully safeguaded." Tuesday, Russia warned Syria against using chemical weapons after President Barack Obama said that Assad would be held personally accountable if Syria used chemical weapons. Tuesday night, his former national security adviser James Jones admitted in an interview that even the CIA might not know the size of the Syrian chemical weapons arsenal.
