““We reaffirm our commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of East Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” the Foreign Ministry in Moscow stated Thursday. Moscow has said this before, becoming the first government in the world to extend recognition of any part of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. DEBKAfile: Israel claims all parts of an undivided Jerusalem as its capital and so its response to the Russian step was qualified.

    Sounds about right. Prophetic indeed. Russia invades Israel with allies to “enforce” UN resolutions.
    You think Russian and Persian presence in Syria just a passing thing? Read your Bible folks, the story of Armageddon. Israel needs to treat Russia as future enemy. Persia more obvious. Trump elected by God’s

    I agree with Aladdin. Why is everyone always talking of Jerusalem when there are so many other countries who have capital cities which really belong to the former indigenous peoples of the region (assuming they have not been wiped out by current occupiers)?

    Jews are the indigenous people of the region in Israel but the same leftists who make such big deal of honoring and apologizing to indigenous people for colonialism and for displacing the native populations are for Islamic terrorists to take over all of Israel. Their antisemitism overrides their concern for indigenous people in but once case only.

    Also, in terms of colonization, the Arabs came to British mandated “Palestine” when it started to pick up in terms of Jewish economic activity. Most of them identified with greater Syria and should be repatriated (now only their grandchildren and great grandchildren remain) to re-construct that war-torn hellish place.

    There has come a time in the struggle of Israel to admit the truth and let the world in on the reality of the situation – it is either Jewish ownership or Muslim ownership – it can’t be both because Muslims want Jews, their #1 enemy, dead and gone.

    There can no longer be equivocation regarding ownership. It is too bad if all the other countries in the world want to use this issue to deflect our eyes from their own evil and genocides – Israel will survive and prosper despite you fixation on destroying Israel.

      From Europe who emmigrate to the American and Australian continent should be too, in terms of colonization, be repatriated back to Europe?

    With respect to the original population of the America’s and Australia, we are talking about Israel, the land and the nation chosen by God out of all the nations and peoples to be His own and His instrument of blessing mankind, which He did in giving Christ as a Saviour for all who receive Him. I know, some English speaking countries consider themselves Gods own, however they are presumptuously wrong.
    On a human level, in most countries people live in relative peace with each other provided they treat each other fairly and respectfully. That cannot be said of those who want Israel and the Israelites dead and gone and teach their children to kill Jews
    Besides let us not speculate with human arguments, rather read and believe the Word of God and take it seriously. The Lord Jesus and his apostles gave the same instruction: Watch and pray

    So the Syrians who fled to Europe are now European not moslem? According to your logic, anybody leaving their country of birth will lose their religion!!!!
    BTW if arabs like the name Jerusalem so much and if Russia wants to recognize East jerusalem as capital of palestine, how about rename Amman as East Jerusalem? We can even help move the mosque to the new East jerusalem. Problem solved. Or, Israel could build a synagogue on top of the mosque. Then jews will be the legitimate indigenous people of Jerusalem.
